Find your name in the previous SIR voter roll

Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is a special verification exercise used to review and update the electoral roll — different from routine electoral-roll revision. If you were registered before, your name may need to be re-confirmed. This page helps you find your earlier record.

Enter a few details and we'll help you find your previous electoral record.

If we find a match, you can review the record and continue with the relevant SIR process.

Where were you registered?

Start with what you remember. You can add more information later if needed.

Tell us about the voter

We'll use this to search the previous SIR roll.

Try Ravi Kumar with state Delhi.

You can enter your name in English or your state's language.

English or हिन्दी

This can help us distinguish between people with similar names.

Add optional details to improve accuracy.

What this means

If your record — or an eligible parent's record where the applicable process allows it — is found in the reference roll, you may not need to submit some additional supporting documents with the enumeration form.

What this does not mean

Finding a previous-roll record does not by itself confirm your current voter status. It does not confirm eligibility, and it does not complete your SIR process.

Older voter records can contain different spellings or incomplete information. Try the suggestions below.

Adding more details can help us find your record.

Add district or constituency Narrow the search to your specific area.
Add father's, mother's, or spouse's name Helps distinguish between similar names.
Search in your state language The previous record may have been in Hindi, Tamil, or another language.
Add polling station or part serial number If you have an old voter slip, check for these details.
Try another spelling

If you searched for "Maneesh", the previous record may use "Manish". Names can also appear as "Bharadwaj" vs "Bhardwaj" or "Sharma" vs "Sharman".

About this data

This prototype uses sample records and workflow language for design testing. It does not search, publish, or represent any live electoral-roll data or government service.

This concept reimagines the existing historical electoral-roll search — normally a state-by-state, PDF-based lookup — as a guided, structured search using synthetic data.

Sample source record
